For those of you who missed one of my previous posts, there’s a petition at change.org to ban single use plastic bags in NSW. It has now reached 15,000 signatures! If you still aren’t sure on why this is a big deal, you can read some more on the topic here.

So the other day I wrote about how it upsets me that single-use plastic bags haven’t been banned from supermarkets in NSW. I didn’t knew this at the time of writing but, as it turns out, there’s a petition at charge.org asking for those evil bags to be banned once and for all!

I ask myself the above question every single time I walk into a supermarket in Sydney. It blows my mind that a country this beautiful and with so much to lose from climate change would be this slow and inefficient at tackling the low hanging fruit, particularly in a city like Sydney.
